Hermitage Green

We’re buzzing to welcome our talented neighbours from Limerick, Hermitage Green, for a special live acoustic set at St. Mary’s on Saturday, April 18th, in collaboration with Wander Wild Festival 2026.
Known for their powerhouse live shows and rich vocal harmonies, they’re bringing their signature blend of trad, folk, and rock.

How To Gael

Pig’s Lane is excited to present ‘How to Gael’ at this year’s Wander Wild Festival. Hosted by broadcasters Doireann Ní Ghlacáin, Louise Cantillon, and Síomha Ní Ruairc. Mar thriúr ban navigating their 30s, Doireann, Louise and Síomha are living, working and socialising as Gaeilge in a way that is suimiúil, spraíúil and just good craic & you’re invited to be part of it!

Poetry & Spoken Word

As part of this year’s two-day Wander Wild weekend event, The Laune Bar, located on New Street, hosts ‘WestWords’ an intimate evening of poetry and spoken word on April 17th at 7:30 PM.

An evening celebrating land, wilderness, and the natural world, ‘WestWords’ brings together voices from Ireland and beyond.

Join Daragh Fleming and Fionn Phelan alongside a diverse group of poets as they explore our connection to place, ecology, and the landscapes that shape us.

Whiskey Tasting x Jaunting Car

Toast to tradition and timeless tales on a jaunting car journey through Killarney and Killarney National Park, guided by a local Jarvey. Explore the historic Ross Castle before settling in at O’Donoghue Public House.  Settle into a cosy corner or traditional snug and enjoy a curated Irish whiskey tasting. Pair your dram with delicious Irish farmhouse cheeses, creamy, crumbly and full of character.

The Liberator Experience

O’Donoghue Public House and Lakeview Estate Distillery have collaborated to create an exclusive, one of a kind ‘Liberator Whiskey Experience’. Arising from the joining of Kerry clans, it celebrates the finest quality, craftsmanship and heritage of the region. Tour the Lakeview estate and learn how this whiskey is created, followed by a whiskey tasting back in O’Donoghue Public House.
